All our boats are independently inspected each year by Visit Britain (The Tourist Board). Your guarantee of quality.

Your safety and enjoyment is of paramount importance to us. Our hand-over of the boat has been approved and audited by the British Marine Federation. You will be provided with comprehensive information prior to your holiday, and personal instruction and information on arrival at the start base. Life jackets are provided free of charge. With all of this no previous experience is necessary and beginners are always welcome.

We have 7 start bases offering a choice of holidays second to none with truly countrywide canal coverage. Hilperton marina in Wiltshire puts Alvechurch boats on the Kennet & Avon canal, whilst Goytre Wharf offers the beautiful Mon & Brec canal in South Wales. For something completely different, explore Scotland from Glasgow to Edinburgh via the Falkirk Wheel. Gayton Marina in Northamptonshire is on the famous Grand Union Canal. Anderton Marina shares its name with the recently restored Anderton Boat lift. Wrenbury Mill gives access to Wales across the Pontcysylite Aqueduct on the Langollen canal, and finally Alvechurch Marina where the company started has access to the best selection of cruising rings in the country.
