| The first impression when you step on board an Alvechurch boat is of space and light. For people who have not been on a boat before, or have been on boats other than ours, the interior comes as a surprise. In fact, a succession of pleasant surprises awaits you. (Click here for a virtual tour of a Thrush class boat)
Central heating, running hot and cold water to the shower, basin and sink (2 showers and basins on the larger boats of course). Flushing toilets. Full cooking facilities and fridges, TV, radio and an inventory of equipment that seems never ending. The controls are as simple as can be - start/stop, forward/reverse, left/right. A child could drive one of our boats - in fact, under supervision, they often do.
We are delighted to show you around our boats so please feel free to come and visit us. Although appointments are not necessary, you should ring the base first to ensure they are open and boats are available to view. Alvechurch:
