Packet Boat Marina is situated in Cowley, near Uxbridge, Middlesex beside the Grand Union canal at its junction with the Slough Arm on the outskirt of London. Packet Boat is easily accessible by road from the M40, M4 and M25, 25 mins by train from central London, and only 15 mins from Heathrow Airport by taxi. From this start location you can choose to cruise away from London on the Grand Union canal or River Thames, or through London on the Paddington Arm and Regents canals.

Please note: Cruising restrictions apply on the tidal Thames. Please ask for further information upon arrival at the marina.

By Road
From the M4: Exit at Junction 4 (Signposted A408 Uxbridge). Follow signs for Uxbridge and West Drayton. When you arrive at traffic lights at a T-junction, West Drayton is signposted to your left and A408 Cowley to your right. Turn right. Continue along this road for 1 mile until you come to the Paddington Packet Boat Pub and a sign for the Turning Point Pub on your left. Turn left. Follow the road up over the hump-back bridge. Packet Boat Marina entrance is about 100 metres beyond the bridge on the left.

By Rail
From London (Paddington Station) take the train to West Drayton. Weekdays and Saturdays trains depart every 30 minutes and journey time is approximately 25 minutes. Either take a taxi (5 minutes) or the 222 bus to Packet Boat Lane.
Alternatively, from Kings Cross St. Pancras, take the London Underground Metropolitan Line to Uxbridge. Journey time approximately 55 minutes. Either take a taxi (5-10 minutes) or take the 222 bus to Packet Boat Lane (15 minutes). There is a bus stop at the Paddington Packet Boat public house. By Air
From Heathrow Airport you can take a taxi (15 minutes) or the 222 bus from Heathrow Airport North (25-30 minutes)
