You
can head away from London north on the Grand Union Canal
through towns, villages and countryside towards Ayesbury
and onto the rolling Chiltern hills. Less than 10 miles
(12 locks) to the South East is the terminus of the Grand
Union Canal at the tidal River Thames in Brentford. |
| East
towards London takes you into Little Venice, Regents Park
and all the attractions of Central London, or a little further
on to Camden lock & market and further still to the
rivers Lee & Stort which takes you out into the countryside
of Essex and Hertfordshire. |
